Around the Eurojust building grows a gently undulating dune landscape. Eurojust assists national authorities in tackling organized, cross-border crime within the EU.
The landscape absorbs the heavy security measures. This could make it feel like a bunker. However, by designing security, the building, and the surroundings integrally, it has become a beautiful view for the city and its immediate neighbors. For Eurojust, it creates a secure environment and a pleasant place to stay within the perimeter.
The security is enhanced by a deep water feature next to the building. The water flows along a wall visible from the entrance hall. The wall is made of stacked natural stone, with small rock plants placed in it, creating an interesting view from the hall.
