Whereas wild nature in the city is a relief to some, many still perceive it as neglect. If we want to increase support for nature-inclusive living environments, we must look for the aesthetics of naturalization; the theme of this guide. The 2nd guide, written for designers and managers, offers three spatial concepts that can make naturalization valued. A number of researchers help us to imagine more space for wild plants and animals in the city in an orderly way and with new thinking concepts.
The 1st (second reprint) and 2nd guide to Nature Inclusive Design can be ordered from DS, by emailing info@dsla.nl, from ARCAM, ABC architecture center Haarlem or order from www.naibooksellers.nl.
